A 1926 Spanish-Moorish ballroom in Uptown, built around a huge open dance floor under a painted-sky ceiling with arches, balconies and chandeliers. Run by Live Nation, it books large touring acts, including a lot of electronic and bass-heavy shows. Expect a big standing-room crowd with a balcony for a break from the floor.
