Comps and the guest list
On the event page, open Comps → Issue comps. Enter the guest's email (or paste several), a name for the door list if you like, the tier, how many, and an optional note.
They get an email with their ticket. If the address is new to KOLA, an account is made for it as you issue the comp, with the ticket already in it, and the email's Get my ticket button signs them straight in.
Not claimed yet next to a guest means no account could be made for that address, so their email asks them to sign up instead. The ticket is theirs as soon as they do, with that address.
How comps count
A comp comes out of the tier's quantity, just like a sale. If the tier has none left, it can't be issued.
Comps are scanned at the door like any ticket, and appear on the door list and in Attendees.
Taking one back
Revoke, in the guest's ⋯ menu on the guest list, cancels it, returns the tickets to sale, and emails the guest. It asks first, because it can't be undone.
A comp can't be refunded from Orders — there's nothing to refund. Revoke it instead.
