Emails, reminders and notifications
The two switches
Under My account → Profile, Emails has two switches.
Promotions covers new shows from artists, venues and organizers you follow, shows you saved, the weekend email, a nudge if you leave tickets behind, and messages from organizers you've bought from. At most one a day and three a week.
Reminders about your shows sends a reminder a week before, the day before, and on the day of shows you have tickets for. Turn it off and the reminders still appear in the bell.
What always sends
Tickets, receipts, refunds, transfers, waitlist updates and changes to your shows. They are about things you've bought or asked for, and a cancelled show is not something to find out about later.
Unsubscribing from an email
Every promotional email has Email settings and Unsubscribe links at the bottom, and neither needs you to sign in.
A message from an organizer has its own Stop hearing from link, which opens a page asking you to confirm with Unsubscribe. That stops that one organizer only — tickets you hold for their shows are unaffected, and you still get anything about them.
The bell
Signed in, the bell at the top of the page shows new shows from who you follow, reminders, refunds, waitlist updates, ticket transfers, and changes to your shows. My account → Notifications has the full list.
