Setting up payouts, and your settings
Connecting Stripe
Partners → Settings → Set up payouts. First you choose where you pay tax: Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom or a country that uses the euro. That decides the currency you're paid in (CAD, USD, GBP or EUR). It can't be changed later — Stripe won't move an account between countries — so pick where your business is, not where the show is. Tickets are priced in the money of the city the show is in, and Stripe converts it to yours.
Stripe then takes you through its own form and brings you back. You can't publish an event until it's done.
What the status means
Verified — ready to take payments: you're done. Ticket money goes straight to this Stripe account.
Stripe is verifying this account: nothing more is needed from you. It usually takes minutes, sometimes up to an hour, and the page checks by itself.
Stripe needs more from you: it lists what's missing. Press Continue payout setup to provide it.
Changing bank details later is done in Stripe, through Update bank details in Stripe.
Contact email
The contact email is where payout emails go and where replies to your messages land unless you choose otherwise. Fans don't see it.
Your organizer name, bio, logo, banner, links and page address are on Profile. The name is what buyers see, including at checkout.
Sales emails
Three switches, sent to owners and managers, never door staff: When tickets sell (grouped, at most every 15 minutes; off to start with), Yesterday's sales (each morning at 9am Toronto time, on days something sold), and Sold out (when a tier or the whole event sells out).
They're shared by the whole team — switching one changes it for everybody.
