Charging sales tax
Set Sales tax rate when you create the event or under Edit details. Leave it blank for no tax.
It is charged on the ticket price only — not on KOLA's service fee or card processing — and buyers see it before they pay, as Sales tax under Taxes & fees.
It's your rate and your filing
KOLA charges what you enter and remits nothing. You're responsible for the rate being right and for filing it. The money is paid to you with the ticket sales.
The Tax report breaks it down by month, and by month and event, for your returns.
