On KOLA the fan pays the fee and card processing at checkout, shown before they pay as Taxes & fees, with each amount a tap away, so neither comes out of your ticket price. No setup or monthly cost to you. Totals are before any sales tax.

DICE's rates are added on top of the face value and taken from sales before payout; in the US they include card processing, and fans see one all-in price. They are the defaults in its Canadian standard terms and US self sign-up terms, and a partner's term sheet can set others.

Side by side

What changes for you.

Your money
KOLACharged into your own Stripe account, not KOLA's. Paid out when you ask, once it clears; by default from five days after the event, which keeps refunds funded.
DICEDICE collects the sales and pays out within five business days after the event (US terms). It can hold back up to 5% per event for six months to cover chargebacks.
Your buyers
KOLAExport buyers' names and emails to CSV. Email everyone who bought from you in the last 24 months, or send them to Klaviyo.
DICECustomer data is for messages about that event. Marketing goes only to fans who opted in.
The door
KOLAAny phone, in the browser. No app to install, no hardware.
DICEThe DICE Access app.
Transfers
KOLASent to a friend by email, up until the event ends. The friend accepts, even without a KOLA account yet, and the sender's code dies the moment it's sent.
DICEIn the app, to another DICE user in the fan's contacts, up to a cut-off you set. Resale is not allowed.
Waitlist
KOLAOn by default. A returned ticket is held for the next fan in line for 15 minutes, at your price, matched to how many they asked for.
DICEFans return tickets to the Wait List. A buyer from it may pay a higher Wait List Price, and DICE keeps the difference unless your term sheet shares it.
