Waitlist

A waitlist for sold-out events.

When every ticket is gone, fans join a waitlist. A ticket that comes back is held for the next person in line, so it goes to someone who wants it, not whoever refreshes fastest.

How it works

  • “Waitlist when sold out” is on for every event unless you turn it off.
  • Fans say how many they want, up to your per-order limit, and whether they'd take fewer.
  • A returned ticket is held for the next person in line for 15 minutes, and they're emailed. Nobody else can buy it meanwhile.
  • Miss the hold and the ticket goes to the next person in line.
  • You see how many are waiting, held and bought: your case for a second night.

What your fans see

When a ticket is held for someone, they get an email and a button to buy it before the hold runs out.

Questions

Good to know.

Anything else, the guides have it.

What if I add more tickets to a sold-out event?

You choose: “Offer to the waitlist first”, held for people in line order, or “Put straight on sale”, with one email to everyone waiting.

Do fans see their place in line?

No. They see that they're on the waitlist, and get an email when a ticket is held for them.

When does the waitlist close?

When the event ends, the same time ticket sales stop. Presale and hidden tiers aren't offered to it.
