Door scanner
Scan tickets with any phone.
When you sell on KOLA, every ticket has its own code. Door staff open the scanner on their own phone, point the camera, and every phone checks against one list, so no ticket gets in twice.
How it works
- Open the scanner in the phone's browser and point the camera. No app to download, no hardware to rent.
- A full-screen result the door can read at a glance: checked in, already checked in, wrong event, refunded or cancelled.
- Any number of phones on one event. A ticket scanned at one gate is refused at the next.
- Recent scans from every phone, with Undo for a mistake.
- Door staff see names, tiers and references. Never orders, amounts or sales.

Does it work without signal?
It needs a connection to check each ticket, so make sure the door has wifi or mobile data. The scanner page is saved on the phone, so it opens quickly on a weak connection.
What if a code won't scan?
Switch to the Guest list tab, search the name, email or ticket reference, and check them in by hand.
Can the scanner live on the phone's home screen?
Yes. It installs as KOLA Door Scanner.
How many phones can scan at once?
As many as you have staff. Each one shows the night's check-in count.
