Payouts

Ticket money goes straight to your Stripe account.

Every sale is charged into your own Stripe account, not KOLA's. Once it has cleared and the event is over, the owner asks for a payout, KOLA checks it, and it goes to your bank.

How it works

  • Sales are charged directly into your own Stripe account.
  • Your revenue, what's ready to pay out, what's held and what's been paid, per event.
  • The owner presses Request payout. KOLA checks what's owed in refunds, then sends it.
  • Every payout has a statement you can export as a CSV.

Questions

Good to know.

Anything else, the guides have it.

When can I be paid?

Card payments clear with Stripe first, which takes a few days. Then everything is held until five days after the event starts, which keeps refunds funded if a show is cancelled.

Why is money held?

So refunds stay funded. If a show is cancelled, every buyer is refunded in full, and that only works if the money is still there.

Which countries can be paid?

Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and 20 euro countries. Tickets are priced in the currency of the show's city, and Stripe converts what you're paid into your own.
